Sète, the Venice of Languedoc
Sète is a major port city in southeastern France, located in the Occitanie region. It is bordered by the Etang de Thau, a saltwater lagoon that is home to various animal species. Running along a narrow isthmus, Sète's Mediterranean coast is made up of sandy beaches. The summit of Mont Saint-Clair offers a view of the city, also called the "Venice of Languedoc" because of its network of canals. The Paul Valéry Museum presents exhibitions on the history of Sète and has a collection of works of art
It is in the heart of this Venice of Languedoc that your navigation will take place with the Taxi-venitian boat
